Something worth fighting for

Many people are hurting in marriage.
They silently exist in the most intimate relationship with another person … alone.
Perhaps they’ve thought about giving up. Moving on.
There are also many people who have settled for less than they desire in marriage and life.
My wish, step back and decide if what you’ve created is worth fighting for.
Honestly ask this question.
And if there’s the slightest thought pointing towards yes … fight for it!
Even if the thought is only a glimmer … fight for it!
I once heard someone say to a friend that their marriage wasn’t worth fighting for.
The response I heard in return:
“That’s because you haven’t fought for it. Something’s only worth fighting for after you’ve fought for it.”
To me there are no truer words!
